What do professional organizers do?A Professional Organizer is someone who can help you organize any area in your home or office to promote efficiency and clarity within your space. They use their experience and knowledge to create spaces tailored to the specific needs of their client. They can help declutter out of control spaces, downsize for a move or help with the flow and function of your home.

How does the complimentary consultation work? There is no charge and your consultation can be done in person(preferred) or via facetime/Zoom! The purpose of the consultation is to get a better understanding of the difficulties you're having with your space and how we may be able to help you. If we are in your home we will open cabinets, drawers and closets to see the volume of your “stuff”. We often take pictures and notes so that we can make a plan once we are back in the office. Having someone in your home looking through your things can feel uncomfortable at times, but know there is never any judgment and we are there to help you!
-
Are you licensed and Insured?Yes! This keeps both our clients and us protected.
-
What areas do you service? We work all over the New England area.
-
Where do you take things I don't want? Most things are donated to different organizations in the community. If you have a specific organization you would like them donated to, we can accommodate that as well.
-
Do I need to be present during the organization?Yes, but not for the whole time! During the decluttering process it is important for the client to be present so they can direct us on things that need to be purged or donated. Once that portion of the project is completed, the client's involvement will be much less. Some clients like to be involved for the whole process and we are OK with that too!
-
What do I need to buy for our first session?Nothing! Until we get through the first session which includes decluttering and purging, we don’t know exactly what is needed for baskets, containers, etc. Clients are often surprised that we are able to utilize many of the things they already have in their home and can eliminate that extra cost. However, if the client wishes to purchase new organizing supplies, we would assess after the first session. The client is welcome to purchase these things on their own or we can do the shopping for you!
-
How can I be prepared for my first session?1. Get rest the night before! 2. Give some thought to what your overall goal for your home is. Do you want fewer things? 3. Do you want a more peaceful environment? What feeling do you want your space to provide? 4. Try to limit distractions. (Children, pets, or other obligations) Realize that at times this can be an emotional process but we will be there with you and supporting you through it.
-
Are containers included in the cost? No. These will be billed separately from the hourly rate.
-
How do you charge and what is the cost?We charge an hourly rate for our services. The hourly rate can vary depending on the scope of the job, and the environment we will be working in. Rates are $125- $195 per hour. This will be discussed with you during your initial consultation!
-
How long does this process take?Every project is different! After your initial consultation, we will give you an estimate on the timing of the project. While we try our best to give you an accurate estimate, there are variables that can make the project go quicker or longer than expected. We typically work in 3-6 hour sessions at a time.
